Construction workers shocked to discover a centuries-old Mummy in China

Construction workers in China were shocked to discover a centuries-old coffin containing an extremely well-preserved male corpse.
The man is thought to have died sometime during the Ming (1368 to 1644 AD) or Qing (1644 to 1912) dynasties.
He was unearthed in Zhizhu village, Anhua County in China's Hunan province dressed in fine fabrics and laid to rest with his favourite fan.

Limestone and fine wood was used to build his coffin, which acted a preservative for the body.
China's State Administration of Cultural Heritage say they believe the man was a noble or at least came from a rich background.
The mountain he was found is thought to belong to a family surnamed Wang.

According to officials, the burial site was accidentally unearthed by an excavator. It's thought to be the first well-preserved body from the Ming or Qing dynasty in that town.
According to an expert, it's thought that the texture of the coffin and the tomb has helped keep the corpse relatively intact.
It has since been removed from the site and will be studied. However in ancient Chinese culture it is considered bad luck to open a coffin.
Construction at the work site has since been halted and the cultural heritage administration may even ask the firm to suspend works indefinitely.
Officials have not commented on whether they have traced any of the man's living descendants, despite being able to identify his family name as well as the location he was buried.

UK Parliament terror attack: Two people killed, cop stabbed -- more than a dozen injured

A knifeman was shot by armed police in the grounds of Parliament today after pedestrians were mowed down in a terror attack on Westminster Bridge.

More than 12 people are said to have been hit by a car on the central London bridge after a vehicle described as a '4x4' drove into pedestrians and cyclists.

An intruder, described by a witness as 'middle-aged and Asian', then managed to break into the grounds of the Houses of Parliament and stabbed a police officer before he was shot.

Prime Minister Theresa May is said to have been bundled into a car by a plain-clothes police officer and driven quickly from the scene.

Scotland Yard said the attack, which comes a year to the day after the terrorist atrocities in Brussels, is being treated 'as a terrorist incident until we know otherwise'.

Villagers cut open crocodile & Find remains of 8-year-old boy in Zimbabwe

This is the horrific moment villagers cut open a crocodile and found the remains of an eight-year-old boy inside the beast.
The shocking scene was captured by an eyewitness with a smartphone in the village of Mushumbi Pools in northern Zimbabwe's Mashonaland Central Province.
Villagers suspected the crocodile had killed and eaten the young boy, and shot the animal dead.

When they cut open the huge beast's stomach, their worst fears were confirmed.
The remains of the boy, whose name has not been revealed, were removed from the crocodile and buried two days later in a village funeral.

Villagers and a local policeman can be seen in the background of the film, silently watching the grim operation unfold.
Local reporter Simbarashe Sithole said: 'The crocodile was shot and was then cut open. The boy's remains were found in the beast's stomach.'
Zimbabwe has recently been hit by heavy rain, raising river and dam levels, which can bring crocodiles to areas where they are not normally seen.

It read: 'A 706-carat diamond was presented to President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma yesterday evening.
'Receiving the diamond President Koroma thanked the chief and his people for not smuggling the diamond out of the country.'
